They are forecasting nearly a foot of snow here this weekend. What better plan than to sew up some spring bags and bunnies. I started with the Modern Folksy Bunny pattern.

Source: Gingercake Patterns
This pattern was super clear, simple, and easy to sew up. It went together really fast. You can play with the size of your bunny by playing with the scaling on your printer.
Now if you want your bunny to stand up on it’s own I would recommend filling the bottom to the bunny with dried beans before you stuff it. This will give you a more weighted base and you bunny will be more cooperative for photo shoots.

Really clear diagrams for cardboard circle method.
Now my bunny may be destined for little people Easter gifts, so they needed a little bag.
The full size bunny fits nicely into the large Go-to Gift bag. This bag comes with a fun slot for cards, I’m thinking for my purposes a sheet of stickers may be fun. What do you think?
After breaking out the spring fabric it seemed silly to stop at just ONE spring bag.
Are you in the line of the blizzard this weekend? Will you be hunkering down in front of the sewing machine? These patterns are included in the 18 pattern bundle sale going on right now! You can see all the patterns HERE. We’re really excited to sew up more of our new patterns.
Happy Sewing,
Donna

What a cute little bunny! I love the bags too, they’re such a great alternative to the traditional wrapping paper.

Thanks for stopping by my blob and leaving a comment
