How many ways can you wear it? The Infinity Sweater

Easy womens sewing pattern

Looking for a super versatile top? The Infinity Sweater gives you a slew of options and looks to create. Plus side it sew together REALLY fast. You’ll have to excuse my pictures on this one- we are in the middle of a four day rainstorm with no sun in sight. The perfect weather to wrap up 18 times in your sweater. The Infinity sweater is only available in the Sew Fab bundle right now and isn’t listed for individual sale (as of this post) **UPDATE*** This is now available for individual sale. Check it out HERE.

If you’ve seen these popping up in blogland you maybe thinking- why is yours so long? No, no. I’m really just that short. So that makes wearing it “as is” not the best choice for me. Good news is this sweater was meant to be styled. So let’s see how many ways I can twist this sucker up shall we? Ready?

Hip Wrap with Belt

The trick to this sweater is using a knit that will cling to itself. I chose a light soft knit. It works well with some of the other options that may get bulkier with a heavier knit. It’s still pretty long this way for me, but wearable.

Long and Loose

Easy womens sewing patternKnot it. I think this would get bulky for me- again short girl. I did shorten up the sleeves.

Over the Shoulder

This kind of makes a cape in the back. Which could be great right? Still working on this one!

Wrap it up!

I think I’ll wear it like this most often. I like feeling wrapped up in cooler weather so this is right up my alley.

How would you style this? Have you made one, share your tips!

I’m so glad you posted this! I bought the Sew Fab pattern bundle but it was hard to tell from the pattern pictures what this would really look like. I like what you’ve done with it!

I don’t know how, or if, I could wear this sweater, but I could certainly wrap myself up in that beautiful colour wool. It looks divine on you!

I’m pleased you posted this. I’ve bought the bundle and haven’t looked at it yet. This looks like such a versatile top. I’m a shortie, so I think I’d shorten it a little before cutting out.
