It’s the last week of the season over at Project Run and Play. This week’s theme- your signature look.
This raised some really interesting questions around here. What is our signature style? Do we have one? Is it the same?
That is the interesting thing about sharing a blog space, we don’t always agree on what looks best. Shocked?
I think Donna and I would both agree when it boils down to it, we both have a more traditional style. That casts a really large net. But for now I think that is as committed as we can get.
I really love this little classic jumper from You and Mie.

Realistically I’ve only just gotten into sewing for the kids, and Donna is returning to clothing sewing after a long hiatus where she was really focused on quilting.
Our style is still evolving.
Do you have a signature style?
Do you have other styles you love, but are so not you?
I have been loving watching Max California’s punk style on PR & P. But I would have to take it wayyyyy down to incorporate it into my guy’s wardrobe.

I also like to admire the more clean line modern feeling girls clothes from afar. Like this really cute Sunki pattern sewn up by StraightGrain.

Long story short we are sitting this week’s sew a long out. Though it does have us thinking.
Happy Sewing,
Rachel and Donna
P.S. It’s the LAST day to grab the 18 e-pattern bundle for 24.95 an 80% savings! Check it out here.

I don’t know what my signature style is either. Not knowing when to stop? Too many ruffles & rhinestones lol!
Ha! What makes you happy right? It’s a hard thing to define I think.
I think OUASM’s style is classic but fun.;)
I don’t think I really have a signature style. I tailor my sewing to which kid I’m sewing for so it’s really their style not mine.

I’m always impressed with sewist that seem to have a clear idea of their babies/toddlers style. Maybe I’m not in touch enough
I’m sure pluses and minuses to having kids who can communicate their style.
I don’t really have a signature look. If I did, I suppose it would have to include ruffles for a girl, as I seem to add them frequently.
It is interesting to start looking at the things we do frequently, that maybe weren’t planned!
