Sewing Up the Anywhere Dress

I have a new favorite in my pattern drawer, Go To Pattern’s Anywhere Dress.(affiliate link) I’ve made two of these little dresses so far, and I have a suspicion that there are many, many more in our future!

Anywhere Dress Go To Patterns

This is my first. It is a 2T Elbow length sleeve with cuff.  I’m in love with the fabric I can pair this dress in the cooler weather with 4 different pair of leggings already in her drawer, big bonus.

Girls Dress Pattern

This makes me very happy. Yay for matching stripes! I did have a bit of a problem with this knit rolling in the front. In the end I decided to add a band of the olive green on the cuff to the bottom of the dress. I gives it a little more weight and adds a fun accent!

Anywhere Dress

I think the nice neck facings give this dress a great age range. Easy fast sew for a toddler, but still appealing to a older girl.

I made up a light pink short sleeve version for my Day one KCW project.

Short sleeve Anywhere DressIsn’t the little cuff too sweet? The weather has gotten nice since I took these, she can actually rock the short sleeves without a shirt jammed under them!

Anywhere Dress

These dresses have been play approved! Runnnnnnnnn.

The sizing on the pattern is great, it isn’t a ton of pieces, great options to mix it up, and it works as a great wardrobe staple! I’m a serious fan.

Full Disclosure: I did receive this pattern free, the opinions are all mine

With more than one girl I bet you would get a ton of use out of it!

The knit dresses are adorable! Perfect for play time and active little girls.:) You did a fabulous job matching those stripes! I’ve found that if you make your knit hem deeper it prevents that irritating rolling up. 😉

What’s the size range Rachel? I’ll grab it if they have 8& up. Also, I’m on the hunt for a skirt pattern with shorts built in 🙂

Adorable!!! Great job on matching the stripes (mesh… I know that can be a pain). The name of the pattern is very fitting. A definite “go to” dress!

This looks like a great dress pattern (and a great top pattern if shortened) Tempting, very tempting.

I’ve had my eye on this pattern ever since it was released. I am still searching for the perfect fabric. I hate when you have such a clear idea in your head of what you want to do with a pattern but can’t find the right fabric.

I love the striped material and the cute little cuff! I have never sewn in a knit, I’m a little afraid to!

    Cheers!

LOVE this! I need dress patterns because my girls love dresses… but since skirts are easier, they end up with tons of skirts. But I’m totally trying this.
