Sewn by You: A round up!

We love getting emails, Facebook messages, and seeing posts on projects you’ve completed using our tutorials. Seriously- it is one of our favorite parts of blogging! We thought today we would share some of those projects with you guys.

We are going to try and do this every few months so please feel free to keep sharing your projects with us. You can post to the Facebook page, or tag us on Instagram or Twitter, comment with a link to the post/tutorial you’ve used, or of course upload to the Flickr group. We will happily link to you for a photo credit if you like!

These cute dresses and tops were made using the 4 in 1 peasant dress. It’s a free pattern and tutorial. You can find it HERE if you don’t have yours yet. It’s fun to see the mixes in fabrics and the creative tweaks that others have taken.  Thank you ladies for sharing your projects with us!

Courtney's dress!

Courtney’s Dress, these fabrics would be a hit in our house!

peasant dress

Shared on the Facebook page, added a bow and shifted the elastic for a different look.

Lisa shared her two versions.

Lisa shared her top and dress. Both cute on her little model!

Ashlyn's Christmas dress

and her Valentine's version!

Ashlyn made up two great holiday outfits. One for Christmas, one for Valentines.

Ginger made up a HUGE variety of outfits using the peasant dress as a base, here are two examples.

Stay tuned we have a free pattern coming up next week for the little ones. Our Little Tummy Tunic previously shared as part of GYCT’s baby series will be live on our site and upgraded to include sizing for 3-6 months, 6-9 months, and 12 months!

Happy Sewing,

Rachel and Donna

It’s a great feeling when you know others have sewn with your patterns / tutorials. I do like the top with the ruffle at the neckline.
